QLA License Policy

1. Licence grant
Subject to these terms and any applicable commercial agreement, QLA is licensed for authorised educational use. Access is provided to authorised accounts and school workspaces in accordance with the applicable QLA plan or agreement.
2. Ownership
The software, branding, documentation and original materials remain the property of Kai Young and/or applicable licensors. A licence to use QLA does not transfer ownership.
3. Permitted use
Authorised users may operate QLA for teaching, assessment, analysis, reporting and related educational administration.
4. Restrictions
Except where law permits otherwise, users must not redistribute the software as their own product, remove copyright notices, sell access to an unauthorised third party, bypass technical restrictions or use the software to provide an unlicensed commercial service.
5. Updates
Updates may add functionality, security fixes or database migrations. The supplied update.php process is intended to update an existing installation without deleting its database.
6. Support
Support availability depends on the applicable plan or agreement.
